a. Make sure your power supply provides enough voltage and current for the board you are using. Boards cannot be powered from computer USB ports which usually only provide 500mA or 0.5A. Most boards need a minimum of 1.5A. For the latest S905x server image uploaded on August 10th, at least, there isn’t an asound.conf in /etc/alsa, only a ‘conf.d’ folder containing the file ‘50-pipewire.conf’ Libre Computers would do this themselves for you as a commercial service though it sounds like. I doubt it would be that expensive relatively speaking because Libre Computers is not a big company and I doubt they get many requests for it. If you are working on behalf of a company that needs something like this I bet they would make it work for you for cheap.

Everything is very solid and looks good. The edges of the board are very clean and everything feels sturdy. I would rate the build quality as excellent. The pictures don’t do it justice as the boards traces actually catch the light as you rotate the board which is a very cool visual effect. It’s going to depend on the OS you’re running. I’ll get to more extensive testing in the near future, however, at this time I’ve been able to confirm everything I’d initially expected to work, did (except the ones noted toward the beginning of this post). Does raspi-config still work?

OpenMediaVault or OMV, is a Linux-based OS designed for network attached storage (NAS) use. Onboard, you'll find a bevy of features for creating a DIY NAS box. For instance, Watchdog, Syslog, S.M.A.R.T., and SNMP for monitoring, RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, and JBOD, plus protocols like FTP, NFS, CIFS through Samba.

The parts of Firefly's Linux SDK that are essential to get started with the Libre Computer Renegade can be obtained and installed as follows [4]: As the name suggests, Armbianis a Debian derivative tailored for ARM devices. Therefore, Armbian works on the Libre Computer ROC-Rk3328-CC. I like that Armbian uses few system resources, making it a great distro for this development board. It's lightweight, secure, and fast on the Libre Computer Renegade. Similar to Debian and Ubuntu, Armbian is an awesome Linux desktop release.

Only 1 USB 3.0 port is available (but using a hub and other available board connections is possible)
