The Holy Quran states that a believing man from among the people of Pharaoh, who kept his faith hidden, said, “‘Will you slay a man because he says, ‘My Lord is Allah,’ while he has brought you clear proofs from your Lord? (Surah al-Mu’min, Ch.40: V.29) Pharaoh called his magicians to challenge Moses as. Pharaoh said that if they were successful in their challenge against Moses as, they would be granted a high position in the royal court. (Surah ash-Shu‘ara’, Ch.26: V.39-43) They assembled together at the appointed time on a fixed day. In Surah ash-Shu‘ara’, it is recorded that when Moses asand Aaron aswent to Pharaoh with their message, Pharaoh said, “‘Did we not bring thee up among us as a child? And thou didst stay among us many years of thy life. And thou didst do thy deed which thou didst, and thou art of the ungrateful.’” (Surah ash-Shu‘ara’, Ch.26: V.19-20) Here, Pharaoh alludes to the Egyptian Moses asaccidentally killed earlier in his life. Moses asreplied: “‘I did do it then, and I was [one] of the erring.” (Surah ash-Shu‘ara’, Ch.26: V.21) We’re not going to cover every mention of Moses in the Bible, but here are the big ones. Moses’ origins: a fugitive from Pharaoh

He further explained, “This response was similar to that given by Hadrat Moses asthat ‘I am not capable of prophethood, this task should be assigned to someone else’, but who is more aware of the one who is capable of prophethood than Allah himself.” ( Ibid.) The High Priest and the Jewish leaders went out to seek people who would bring false accusations against Jesus, but they could not find any two people who could agree:--by the testimony off two or more witnesses, a word will be established. (Matthew 26:59-61The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for false evidence against Jesus so that they could put him to death. But they did not find any, though many false witnesses came forward). So far in this conversation, the message Moses asbrought seems to be new for Pharaoh who did not believe in God. Pharaoh demands a sign And Pharaoh’s wife said, ‘[He will be] a joy of the eye, for me and for thee. Kill him not. Haply he will be useful to us, or we may adopt him as a son.’ And they perceived not [the consequences thereof].” (Surah al-Qasas, Ch.28: V.10) You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.

As Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt (with the help of a pillar of cloud and pillar of fire), Pharaoh changed his mind (classic Pharaoh) and sent out his chariots to slaughter them. The angel of God stalled Pharaoh and his army along with the pillar of cloud, and meanwhile, Moses held out his staff over the Red Sea, and God sent a strong wind to part it. Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your descendants I will give this land.” And there he built an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him. And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed.Such was the enmity of Pharaoh. Drunk on his power, he saw himself above the law, a man who could do as he pleased. It was not long before this, he reminded Moses asof the Egyptian he accidentally killed and now Pharaoh boasts of killing the sons of the followers of Moses as. Ancient Egypt was one of the most powerful nations in the world. And the people of Egypt worshipped their own pantheon of gods—including Pharaoh himself. Like many powerful monarchs throughout history, Pharaoh was treated not just as royalty, but divinity. And the Lord appeared to him the same night and said, “I am the God of your father Abraham; do not fear, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for My servant Abraham’s sake.”

In this passage, God identifies himself and then outlines his plan. And from this moment on, Moses and Aaron spoke and acted on God’s behalf, executing his plan. The Ten Plagues of Egypt The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming—not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship.

Hope in the Future

Having carried out several of God’s signs and wonders himself in Egypt, spoken to Pharaoh on behalf of God, and directly witnessed Moses perform numerous other miracles, Aaron naturally obliged. He told them to bring all the gold jewelry (most of which they’d probably plundered from Egypt), and melted it into a golden calf.

D. Maggiorotti Testamento di Mosè in ed. P.Sacchi Apocrifi dell'Antico Testamento Vol 4 ISBN 88-394-0587-9 (2000) As the Hebrews are preparing to move into Canaan to possess it according to God's promise to Abraham, Moses issues a series of warnings, one of which contains a prophecy concerning the Messiah in Deuteronomy 18:15-22. Since then, no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face, who did all those signs and wonders the Lord sent him to do in Egypt—to Pharaoh and to all his officials and to his whole land. For no one has ever shown the mighty power or performed the awesome deeds that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.” —Deuteronomy 34:1–12 Chapter 7 is about the end of days, but the manuscript is too fragmented to fully understand the text. Just before this, Moses talked God out of pushing the reset button and wiping out all the Israelites (Exodus 32:10-14). It’s possible that this violence was part of the negotiation that we didn’t see, or else perhaps Moses believed that sparing those who were not “for the Lord” (Exodus 32:26) would ultimately lead to a repeat of the mistake, which God may not be as willing to overlook. At this time, as the atrocities committed by the Pharaoh and the likes of Haman reached their limit, God, desiring to show favour to those who had been considered weak on earth, raised a prophet who would save the people of Israel from the chains of slavery.
